Gregory’s Gala 2017
Our 2017 Gala was another wonderful success, as over 150 people gathered as one for a Black & White Masquerade at Pittsburgh’s Omni William Penn – to “unmask” the financial hardships associated with adoption. Due to the tremendous support from our Silver Level Sponsors, PNC and New Community Church, and many other individual donors – our gala event raised over $50,000 for the second year in a row….all in an effort to assist adoptive families in need of financial support to complete their adoption process.
By October 2017, Gregory’s Gift Adoption Fund assisted 31 families and helped to bring home 36 children from across the world. This amazing journey would not have been possible without the love and support of all of you, so from all of us at Gregory’s Gift – we say Thank You…Again!
What Does It Mean To Be Someones Gregory?
Gregory’s Gala has a strong leadership team, consisting of individuals who have adopted a child into their family and of individuals who have a heart for orphans. Our leadership team consists of founding members of Gregory’s Gift, David and Lisa Wert, and Victoria Carlson, who are joined by local Pittsburgh personality, Stephen Cropper, and former Pittsburgh Steeler, Jeff Hartings. The team is rounded out by a strong group of professionals with a wide variety of experiences, including technology and web-development, management of non-profit organizations, financial development, communications, and fundraising.
